Barcelona’s new manager, Hansi Flick, has asked the club to sign Jeremie Frimpong from Bayer Leverkusen this summer.
Flick considers the right-back his top target, especially if Joao Cancelo goes back to Manchester City.
Frimpong had a great season with Leverkusen, scoring 14 goals and making seven assists, helping the team win two trophies.
Many big clubs are interested in him, and his contract has a release clause of 40 million euros, which might attract bids.
However, any offers will probably wait until after Euro 2024, as Frimpong is currently playing with the Netherlands team.
